This is Carson.
Carson is deaf. 90%...I believe.
He's a smart kid, nonetheless.
He just has trouble communicating.
On July 1st, Carson will undergo surgery for cochlear implants in both ears.
He'll still be deaf without the implants (they can take them out, you know).
But he'll be able to communicate with those who love him.
He'll still learn sign language.
But he'll learn spoken words, first.
I did a mini-session fundraiser for Carson last Saturday. Here are my favorites from the sessions:
Little Emma was such a doll! She wanted to hug all the dog statues. As you can see, the were big, special hugs! :-)
Jackson and Taylor did their sessions back to back (they're cousins). It got pretty hot really fast, so they got some ice cream to cool down.
Too much fun!
